Seagull on a white bannister, blue sea in the background
I wrote this poem for this year’s edition of the Festival des migrations, des cultures et de la citoyenneté. It was displayed, together with an older poem of mine, during the Salon du Livre of the festival, which took place on the 8th of May 2022.

This poem was read within the “Tales from Beyond” event that took place on the 1st of November 2019 and was included in the anthology of short stories and poems published with that occasion.

These lyrics were written for a rock song composed by friends of mine. They weren’t used in the end, but I liked them and I thought they deserved another chance, as a stand-alone poem.
